The one thing that I enjoyed on the way back from India was reading a book I’d picked up at a shop in Varanasi. It’s called Turning Point by Fritjof Capra, one of my favourite science writers. He talks about some of the major problems the world is facing – health, environment, economic – as relevant now as it was when he wrote the book 20 years ago.<\/p>\n
Although I don’t agree entirely with his list of problems, his description of the causes resonates beautifully with my own. He’s obviously done a lot of research on the subject and I’m prepared to accept his thoughts over mine. I’m looking forward to getting to the end of the book to see what solutions he offers to get through our current problems.<\/p>\n
Imagine a world where people didn’t have to get cut open to fix problems, where people work for self-worth rather than money and survival. It’s possible and may not be too far away.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
