Reception Service

On the other hand, it’s been a good day for me. I’ve finally checked an item off the list that’s been bothering me for months. I have advertised an Australian phone number on my business cards, stationery and website. It makes sense to have an Australian contact when it’s an Australian based company and I hope to have Australian clients. But I neglected to take into account that Telstra won’t forward calls internationally, so any calls made to that number are going into the void.

Today I signed up with a reception service that will answer those calls (after I forward the number, of course) and email me the details immediately so I can return the call. It’s a reasonable cost and it also gives me an office that I can use (costed again) when I’m in Sydney. Where would I be without technology?
