Our broadband internet connection still isn’t ready. Despite giving the provider a month’s notice, they only realised on the day of installation that they were missing the power supply for the antenna. There’s nothing I can do, so I have to practice my Bhutanese patience and wait.
The new flat is being painted today to get rid of all the mold on the ceilings. Hopefully they’ll fix the water heater as well.
Marie’s got a friend visiting for a couple of weeks and we’ve sent her off to the Paro Tsetchu (festival) by herself today. I might have gone, but I took her to Trongsa and back last week to look at a few dzongs (temple castles) and the 17 hours of driving in 3 days ruined me for driving for the coming weeks.
