I’ve dropped Marie’s parents at the airport and Marie and I have reclaimed the house for a few weeks. Today was curtain shopping and during the week I’m hoping to find the bricks and wood we need to make our shelves.
But today was also a day for relaxing in the sun at the rock climbing wall. We try to go every Sunday, but it’s been many weeks for me and many months for Marie, though from our climbing efforts you’d think it was the other way around. Even the locals who run the club and go regularly had an off day today. Perhaps it was the sun and the first climb of summer. Next week the locals are leading a group of tourists on a 7 day trek, so we’ll have to manage on our own if we choose to climb. It’s never quite as much fun without their stories as we climb.
