I got the answers to all my questions last night when a strange man rang our doorbell at 10:30. I was already asleep with a cold and Marie was trying to finish up some work before crashing herself. Neither of us were happy with the intrusion.

It turned out to be the installer come to finish the job. Today, he’d found the right building, got approval from Dr Pumpkin, installed the antenna on the roof and dangled the cable down the wall outside our ensuite bathroom. Tonight, in ten minutes, he’d pulled it in, ran it through to our living room and connected us. He’ll be back another day to move the cable to the other side of the building where the study is. For now, I’m happy to have a permanent, higher speed internet connection.

Next steps are to switch my Linux to Ubuntu (perhaps the Bhutanese version) and to revamp the website.
